About the Role:
Join TEXAS HEALTH AND SCIENCE UNIVERSITY as an Instructor in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This exciting opportunity allows you to share your expertise and passion for holistic health in a vibrant academic environment in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to diverse student groups.
- Develop and update curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students throughout their learning journey.
- Conduct research in the field of acupuncture and herbal medicine.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of holistic health practices.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture and herbal medicine practices.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, or a related field. (Doctorate Degree Preferred)
- Current licensure to practice acupuncture in Texas.
- Experience in teaching or training in a higher education setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for holistic health and commitment to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Research experience in acupuncture or herbal medicine is a plus.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and learning.
